Gobi Masala

GOBI MASALA WITH CHAPPATHI

Ingredients – Serves Five

Cauliflower            250g

Onion                    1

Tomato                 1

Green chilli            1

Clove of Garlic       1

Ginger                  50g

Stem of Curry leaves 1

Coriander leaves

Chilli powder        1 tablespoon

Garam Masala      1 teaspoon

Besan Powder      2 tablespoons

Corn flour            1 tablespoon

Cooking Oil          2Table Spoon

Poppy Seeds        1Teaspoon

A handful of cashews

 

 

Method


1.Cut the cauliflower into smaller pieces and steam.

2.Grind the following ingredients; Ginger, garlic, tomato, curry leaves poppy seeds, cashew, onion and green chilli.

3.Place oil in pan and fry the steamed cauliflower.

4.Then place the ground ingredients into the pan with the cauliflower and let it simmer.

5.Add chilli powder, garam masala, besan powder, corn flour, water and salt to taste.

6.Finally garnish with coriander
